4. Opening a Program/Art Program to an Existing Department in the School/Faculty

5. Opening a Master's Program (Proposals are made in September in the Fall Semester and in March in the Spring Semester)

- To have a minimum of 3 faculty members, consisting of 2 full time professors and/or associate professors who meet the following conditions

- To have a bachelor's degree/doctorate/post-doctorate in the field of the graduate program to be opened,

- To be enrolled in a maximum of 4 programs, one each in master's and doctoral programs with thesis and one each in interdisciplinary master's and doctoral programs with thesis

6. Opening a Doctorate/Proficiency in Art Program (Proposals are made in September for the Fall Semester and in March for the Spring Semester)
- Graduate School Board Decision
- To have 6 faculty members who meet the following conditions (maximum two of them can be foreign nationals)

- Having 2 professors and 4 faculty members or 1 professor, 2 associate professors and 3 assistant professors who have received their bachelor's degree/doctorate/associate professorship in the field of the graduate program to be opened,

- To have taught at least 4 semesters of undergraduate or 2 semesters of graduate courses,

- To be enrolled in a maximum of 3 programs, one each in master's and doctoral programs with thesis and one in an interdisciplinary program,

- In health programs, to have 1 professor and 2 associate professors in the field of the program to be opened, and 3 faculty members in fields close to the program to be opened,

7. Opening a Double Major Program (ÇAP) / Minor Program (YAP) (Proposals are made in May)

8. Opening a New Course (Proposals are made in April)

9. Course Change (Proposals are made in April)

- Curriculum Change and Course Adjustment Regulation Form
- If changes are made in the code, it should be examined whether it conflicts with other units
- – Odd numbers should be given for undergraduate/graduate programs, and even numbers for the spring semester,
- – Graduate programs should have codes starting with 5 for master's degree without thesis, 6 for master's degree with thesis and 7 for doctoral programs,
- – 3 digits of the letter code digit must refer to the department,
- In case of a change in the course content, Course Opening Request Form
- A curriculum in which 30 ECTS per semester is adjusted and new courses are added (Except Graduate Schools)
10. DRemoval of the Course from the Curriculum (Proposals are made in April)

- If there is another unit student taking the course, the written opinion of the relevant unit
- An explanatory text to answer the adjustment related to the course to be removed and the the following questions
- – Is course adjustment needed??

- – Will those who failed the course continue to take it??
- – Is it planned to open a new course for unsuccessful students?
- – Is course exemption for failed students being considered?
- – Will the failed course be deleted from the student?
- – Does the credit (National/ECTS) difference caused by the change affect the student's graduation?
11. Directive Proposals (Can be Proposed Throughout the Year)
